TS Polls: Over 40 lakh Andhra voters in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: More than 40 lakh voters from Andhra Pradesh residing in Hyderabad will decide the outcome of 17 Assembly segments in Telangana polls. Except for 7 Assembly segments which are strongholds of MIM, the remaining constituencies have a large presence of Andhra voters. The TRS and Prajakutami are making efforts to win the votes of Andhra people. TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu had fielded Nandamuri Suhasini in Kukatpally to win votes of Seemandhra people in Hyderabad while caretaker Minister K Taraka Rama Rao has been playing local card.
