Congress leader Revanth Reddy alleged that caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was reopening the ‘vote for note’ case as the latter failed to face him politically. He alleged that Chandrashekar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were reopening the ‘vote for note’ case now as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu came out of the NDA government.

From then onwards, both Chandrashekar Rao and Modi were preparing a plan to raid the houses of him and his relatives through ED and Income Tax Department besides reopening ‘vote for note’ case through the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday, Revanth Reddy reminded that the Supreme Court dismissed the case against A-4 Matthaiah when the latter filed a quash petition alleging that the police filed illegal case and arrested him without filing FIR. He said the police also included Chandrababu’s name alleging that latter spoke to Stephenson over phone. The State government did not get favourable verdict when it approached the Supreme Court against Chandrababu Naidu. But Chandrashekar Rao and Modi were trying to reopen the same case.

He said the ED was getting ready for raids as per the plan against him and his relatives’ families. He asked party activists to be careful as the coming days were very important to them. The State DGP M Mahender Reddy was also cooperating with Chandrashekar Rao in violating the law, he said adding that the DGP was addressing letters against him with old dates. The DGP was acting as Qasim Razvi indulging in anti-law activities with private army.

Revanth Reddy said Chandrashekar Rao and M Mahender Reddy should own the responsibility if anything happened to him and his family members. Revanth alleged that Chandrashekar Rao hatched a conspiracy against him to see that he should not tour the State as there was a scope that the party high command may give him an important position.

He revealed that Chandrashekar Rao had messaged to party leaders saying that ED raids would be conducted against Revanth Reddy. Revanth asked Mahender Reddy to tell which private army’s head he was. He said that ED raids would be held before two days the party gave him a position. He said that Chandrashekar Rao’s plan would be exposed if anything happened to him.
