Rs 3 lakh ex gratia announced for Yadadri accident victims

Tragic incident topok place in at Valigonda mandal in Yadadri Bhuvangiri district on Sunday morning.Fifteen persons including a four-year-old child died when the tractor trolley they were travelling in overturned.
“An inquiry has been ordered into the incident,” said Deputy Collector (UT) Valigonda B. Yadaiah.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao expressed shock over the incident and directed officials concerned to take up relief measures. He also directed them to ensure that proper medical treatment is provided to all the injured persons.
Though no arm of the state government is responsible, the state government has announced ex gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased while the local MLA announced an ex gratia of Rs 1 lakh.
The district administration has assured the families of the deceased that they will be given two-bedroom houses.
