Uttam Kumar Suggested Leaders To Work Hard For Polls

Both telugu states Congress presidents N. Uttam Kumar Reddy (TS) and N. Raghuveera Reddy (AP) called upon party leaders and cadre to work hard to bring the party into power at the Centre and the Telugu states in the ensuing elections. They said AICC president Rahul Gandhi would become Prime Minister.The two PCC chiefs gave the call at a meeting organised by the national solidarity committee to mark the 27 death anniversary of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.


Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy said Rajiv Gandhi’s efforts to strengthen local bodies, develop the country and to bring peace in Kashmir could not be forgotten. He said everyone in the party should work with the single aim of making Mr Rahul Gandhi Prime Minister, and to bring the Congress back to power at the Centre and in the state.


He said party workers should aim to defeat the BJP and the TRS. The present-day rulers were dividing the country on communal lines, he said.
